Reissom:
Hi,
I still have a problem with Context menu handler.
The "Send To" menu takes about 15 seconds to display in WinXP explorer.

Send to menu has no relation to PSPad context handler. Are you sure PSPad is responsible for the delay ? In Send to menu is several other applications...

Jody:
Thank you so much for the dbl-click close tab. I've waited so long for this and thought it would never happen.

I knew it would give you a problem with reordering tabs but you figured that out.

Reordering tab is OK too. It was my typo. If reordering tab doesn't work for you, download this build again.

No, you misunderstood. Works fine.

I just knew in the past that this could create a problem. I was praising you.
You figured it out. Even though I would have preferred dbl-clk over sort, you made them both work!

That's why I said, "You the Man" smoking smiley

Thanks again,

Jody

Hi Jan,

Thank you very much for this new build -- I can confirm that my "multiple file open" issue has been resolved.

Fantastic!!!

Cheers,
Niall.

#15 Starting a second PSPad on DOS prompt

Posted by: menet | Date: 2006-07-07 11:31 | IP: IP Logged

A first PSPad was running (4.5.2 (2228) version). It was started under DOS prompt (or not) without problem.

I do for exemple under DOS prompt "PSPad.exe /R licence.txt"

PSPad has then a new empty tab with the title "PSPad - [pspad.exe /R licence.txt]" sad smiley
If the "-R" was not used, we has "PSPad - [pspad.exe licence.txt]" but the tab is always empty. sad smiley

When it run right (PSPad not yet running) the tab contains the licence.txt file in Read-Only mode and the title is "PSPad - [c:\directory\pspad\licence.txt R/O]" tongue sticking out smiley

I have tried with the version 2227 (or 2223), with it, it is OK for the licence.txt file in a second tab but it open also a first tab with PSPad.exe edited in hexa !

All was good with the official version 4.5.1 (2207) tongue sticking out smiley

Best regards winking smiley

Can't confirm.
I open DOS window
I set directory to PSPad directory
I call: PSPad.exe licence.txt
PSPad opens Licence.txt

I open DOS window
I set directory to PSPad directory
I call: PSPad.exe licence.txt
PSPad opens Licence.txt

After that, you have to close the Licence.txt (not the PSPad window).
Then, you call again on the previous DOS window: PSPad.exe licence.txt
And the problem is there for me. winking smiley

I still don't understand why characters are larger since build 2227 (see related forum.pspad.com). It is really less readable. I did not have the problem in the build 2223. Am I the only one to have this problem?

With the fixedsys font, I notice this effect too. But how about setting your font to something else, Bitstream Vera Sans for example?
