Anyone using this build of PSPad under the latest Wine? Now it just freezes. Seems that the last few editions have been getting worse in terms of operating under Wine. Is anyone interested in working with me to do some regressing tests so we can either help the Wine project fix something they broke or suggest to Jan what is breaking under Wine?

When I use the word wrap, can I save the wrapped text into a new one that breaks the line wrapped into some CRLF ?

Used a project, tried to close the project using menu project, New Project, PSPad aked if i wanted to save, No and a new empty project dit not start, old still open.
Closed PSPad, start PSPad, project still open, used New Project and now the old project closes and a new empty project is shown.
Look like not saving project on a modified project does not close the project.

Hi,
I am not sure this is a bug in the beta or regular version; I've never encountered this before. Since I am using this version I post it here.
I am using PSPad for creating and editing loads of SQL-files.
Normally when I open a .sql file the syntax is highlighted as usual.
But last week one of my codings exceeded more then 250.000 characters.
And apparantly when a file has 250.000 chars or more, the highlighter wont work when opening the file.
It does still work when I manually select the highlighter after loading, but as I am a lazy person I'd like to avoid that
Can someone confirm this behaviour?
Or tell me if there is a setting that I missed?
Or that it is a "bug" of some sorts.
Thanks,
Rogier.
PS Really love PSPad! Keep up the great work!

@Rogier:
See Menu Settings, Program Settings, Direct Edit, Special settings
HLOnUpToSize=nnnnnnn
Set number of bytes. If you open file and length of file exceed value, syntax highlight stay off - decrease time need for open file.

Top class!
That did it; I knew it would be something that could be set manually!
Thank you very much.
(loading takes ages anyway; as I have the Code Explorer Window open, but that is no problem at all)
Sorry for thinking it was a bug

Hey, Jan. Sorry when posting the same thing twice, but I could not find an answer from you to this:
Quote:When FTP connection is lost and password is not saved, it does not keep this in memory after timeout (keep alive unfortunately is not working). Would be great not to have it retyped everytime.Besides I experienced some kind of reconnection problems. Sometimes it looses connection (timeout) when not used for a longer time. When saving, it asks for password (not stored) and when re-entered, the connection is not refreshed. I need to disconnect or just connect newly (and enter password again).
Can you tell us, if you plan to "fix" it? This is a really uncomfortable issue.
