ArchCarrier:Unfortunately I have the same problem as vbr describes: a complete crash without any error message, as soon as I activate PHreplace. Also, no log file is being written, even after I changed the ini-option.I don't know how to produce error logs, but if you tell me I'll be glad to help you fix the problem.
I'm using Windows XP SP3, English locale.
Me too!
Exactly the same problem.
Windows XP SP3, PSPad 4.5.4 (2356), Brazilian-Portuguese locale

In the latest beta, Jan has added an option to put a newline in the replace field. He's going to rewrite the search/replace engine, but this is a great start already.
I look forward to the day I can delete PHreplace from my system. Too bad, because it had a lot of potential.

have the same probelm. PHReplace crashes with PSPad, after pressing Ctrl-Alt-F. No log file is produced if WriteLog set to true.

I've been playing around with this for a while now and can't figure out how to do a simple multiple search and replace. Here's what I need:
Search:
Sun
Day
Green
Horse
Replace:
Moon
Night
Blue
Cow
I want each to be replaced by their corresponding value only. That way I can just paste in a text file of all the 'befores' and 'afters' and have all my replaces done in one hit.
What am I missing? Thanks

Hi,
the multiline search add-on doesn's support multiple successive replacements, as far as I know. It adds the possibility to search mutiline, i.e. across line endings, which is missing in the search engine in PSPad.
For your task the scripting support can be used effectively.
A simple way with hardcoded replacement patterns could be e.g.:

S.O.: Windows7 64x
PSPad version: 4.5.6 (2427)
phreplace version: 2.0.24
Step to install the script:
1. Open the start menu
2. type cmd into the search box
3. Hold Ctrl + Shift and press Enter (to log in as administrator)
4. run regsvr32.exe from the %SystemRoot%\Syswow64 folder (for 64-bits systems)
Enjoy it!
