Should the title of this topic be "PSPad unicode 4.5.5 (2389) English" ?

pspad:Search/replace - replace include new line
Is it really true? Incredible! I hadn't thought I would ever live to see this addition to PSPad! I can't test the new build right now, but is it also possible to search for a newline yet?
Anyway, thanks so much for finally implementing this very helpful function!

pspad,
Quote:CSS highlighter fix for matching bracket
Sorry, English is not my language.
In a similar construction, CSS highlighting does not work properly:
and:
If closing bracket to move on the following string, matching bracket are defined correctly:
If to insert space between '(' and '"data...', highlighting works correctly:

I don't write web paged, I don't use CSS. I am able to fix problems, if somebody shows me example like you.

pspad:Search/replace - replace include new line
Very good, thank you, pspad!
I would have needed that recently and now I know it will work in PSPad.
One more thought to that, though:
Is it very complicated to implement the feature to find and replace new line chars ("\n"). Right now I can only search for chars at the end of the line with "$" but I did not find a way how to actually replace the EOL-char.
Regards, Stephan

It's not complicated, but time consuming. I plane to rewrite whole engine instead of make modification as was previous fix.

Maximized main window state still is not saved. I want it to always start maximized. Although Autosave main window position is enabled in options it is disabled by next restart. It works fine with another installation. I don't know why.
edit: I think I have resolved the issue by deleting the following lines from the ini file:
Width=547
Height=373
Top=339
Left=184
Maximized=1
ChildMaximized=1

That's very good news, Jan! Addons like PHreplace are OK, but very buggy, especially with larger files. It would be great if you could include a RegEx flavor that has newline functionality built-in.
Of course I know I shouldn't ask this, but do you have any indication on when you might get around to writing the new engine?

I'm sad to see that "reload on changes" problem is stil present
See some posts about it here:
forum.pspad.com
forum.pspad.com
On 02/22/2010 you said that you'll roll back to the previous (working) behaiavor, but after 3 month I see the same problems
I still alert users that are using version after 2357 that there isn't any minimal support to catch changes on file current opened
Hope to get it working soon...
