I understand...
Indeed, reload means "no change".
but this is not the case for FTP files, because the reload happens from within, the temp folder, not from FTP again...

Could it be possible to force the "changed" flag if we reload a FTP linked file because of an external change?

(because the file is reloaded from temp, but nof from FTP)

pspad:
bluezero:
Here it is, it has something to do with indenting (TAB)

What I found, it is caused by real tabs only. When you use spaces instead of tabs, UNDO is OK.

What I found in sources:
Known Issues:
- Undo is buggy when dealing with Hard Tabs (when inserting text after EOL and
when trimming).

Does it mean it wont be fixed?

It does mean it is not easy to fix it.

Let me ask it a different way.
Will you work on that or will you wait for them to fix it?

I tried to fix it when you reported it. There are big differences between previous and new version of editor component. Project leader told me that he want to replace whole UNDO/REDO system and simplify it. I wil lask him about some term. If it should take long time, I will try to fix it by my way.

I cannot save an empty file. Can anyone confirm this? Or is this the way it is supposed to be?

Yes, because "somebody" had problem with unmodifed file and with enabled save icon...
New file isn't modified.

The possibility is enable save button without dependency of the modified status

I will make the behavior like before.
Save will be always available (editor or hex editor if not Read/Only)
Icon on the toolbar be changed acording to modified status

Oops! Was I that "somebody"? *quick-duck-away*

Sorry, it was just a question. It's not so bad if you can't save an empty file. You can still use F12. That the save button is enabled/disabled, depending on the modified status, is much more important. smiling smiley

Thanks for your good work!
