frequently error

after the latest updates, I often get this error and have to close everything and lose unsaved data.

What do you mean "latest update"?
Latest full version 5.0.6 (589) from Aprith 8th?

Since 5.0.5 (567) I have that error. In the beginning it happened once every 2 or 3 days now, with 5.0.6.589, it happens 5 or 6 times a day and I can no longer work via FTP

Try please last 5.0.7 from PSPad developer forum.
You can backup your current PSPad folder, replace content and if you want, you can simply return it back

same thing happens to me, with the most recent versions (including the latest update, but was present 1-3 versions before too). using 64bit pspad. i have noticed this happens occasionally when i open a new file from within WinSCP as an external editor (never happened before these most recent versions)

507 still crashing...or not responding.

Problem is maybe caused by memory manager. I will revert it to default one.

which version should i roll back to in the mean time so it uses this old memory manager and the program doesn't crash?

Try 5.0.4, but I think 5.0.7 won't make problems with start for you.
