A small bug that it has been persisting for a while: if I select a *single* line and press CTRL-H (Replace) the "Scope" it's set to "Global" rather than "Selected text".

This is behavior by design, not a bug. And user wish.
Find more users who will want to change it and I will change it or make it optional.

but it does not have any sense. if i have selected text than I expect the replace to refer to the selected text...

If something doesn't make sense to you, it doesn't mean that it's wrong.

I told you. Find several people who will agree with you and i will make it optional

smiling smiley i can't "find" other people. the vast majority of users are not hard-core users. probably very few people ever use the vast majority of an editor's feature. anyways, i'll leave it be...

don't get me wrong - i use pspad since i can't remember (6 or 7 years now) and it's a great editor.

Would you like to have 'Selection only' preselected by default even if your selection contains a single word? Or even a single character?

Dunno how much 'hardcore' I am, but I quite appreciate current behaviour: if my selection does not overlap a line scope, replace is 'Global' by default. This fits the case you are writing about: selection is form the start of line to its end, and no further. I usually select a line by {2×home}{shift+down} keystroke sequence (and, CMIIW, there is no built-in action for 'select line' operation in PSPad). In this case selection contains line-break and thus 'Selection only' is preselected, what typically fits exactly my needs. You may try to do it this way too, maybe you'll like it.

Hi Jan

The file-tabs are now shown above the toolbar? In older versions the toolbar always stays above the file-tabs. Looks a little bit strange now...

EDIT: sorry, problem solved.
Changed settings, restart, now its ok.

Hi Jan:

There is a minor bug. After I updated to 2405, the the script items show twice in the submenu of Scripts menu. Please check it. Thx a lot.

best regards.
