Hi,

The download file seems to be corrupt. I tried to unpack it using such programs as MegaZipper and Files Compressed but without luck.

BTW, it is written that the file is CAB archive, but download is 7Z archive.

Try 7-zip. I had no problems with it.

Under Format the same encoding is checked for all open files even if I change it. I would expect it to be changed only for the file in the active tab.

Don't change encoding in format menu, if you don't want to change it for current file.
Important information for you is in the statusbar - you see there used document encoding.

Change encoding in case file is in wrong encoding:
1. you see that file you open has wrong encoding
2. in format menu change encoding
3. press Ctrl+R for reload file

Change target encoding if you want to save your file e.g. in UTF-8
1. open file, you see the letters are ok
2. in menu format change encoding (change is made in statusbar)
3. save your file

Thank you, I totally missed the statusbar text. But I must say that the way things are implemented it is not intuitive. I would expect the Format menu to always reflect the encoding of the current file.
Best Regards and thanks for this great software!

Menu format is used for new file encoding and change encoding.
If this will reflect current file format, you will be confused from new file encoding then

Thanks, Xantier.

7-zip program extracted the archive correctly.

Hello Jan,

actually I'am using Build 2408, because finally filechangedetection almost works there again.
The Autocompletion is really a nice feature, I don't want to miss it, but there's one thing about which disturbs me:
When I use the Cursorbuttons to scroll through my Text, the Autocompletion shouldn't appear! (Only when writing text). Am I Right? Can you fix it?

Greetings from Holger
