Thanks for this new version !

Just one thing. It seems that "File change detection" is still broken.
If I open a text file in PSPad and Notepad in the same time and modify and save it in Notepad, PSPad does not detect the file modification.
I have done the test at the root of my hard drive C:

Could you confirm this behavior?

Thanks and have a nice day.

Lolo

EDIT:
Strange.
I have change put in [Special settings] to CheckDocChanges to 0 and restore it to 1 and now it works.
I don't know why I have had this "bug"
I hope it will continue to work fine.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Shit. JavaScript regression. Comments at the beginning of a line
stop working.

I wouldn't recommend this build for JS developers

Oh yes, that's the case... Hmm but it is not such a bug that I will return to the previous version. I can wait till it is fixed.

can we pretty please have the "trim trailing spaces" be a 3-state option so that we can also have it work *only* when saving a file?

also, is there a way for changing the colors of symbols showing spaces, tabs & line-ends? this is of no real importance of course, i'm just curios smiling smiley

thanks!

#7 %File% bug

Posted by: fetis | Date: 2010-03-22 13:45 | IP: IP Logged

I suppose this's bug (not only for current build, but for previous too).

I set some external programs for .html files, path looks like this
"C:\blah\blah\firefox.exe" -new-tab "%File%"

But when I have selected text and call this external program (either via hotkey, or menu) PSPad opens me a temp file with selected text inside.

I think it's a bug since we have a special macro for selected text %SelText%.

P.S. Submited this in the tracker pspad.nlift.com

"In the favorite panel, you can set any count of compilers you need."

I cannot find this panel. Not in "Project settings", nor in "Highlighter settings".

Where is it, please?
