Hi,
I did not try this new build yet, because of the quoted part. I am in doubt: Does it write into the registry also when I use a portable installation?
Thx!
P.

PSPad writes into this key in all version from the begin (in your previous version too).
There are 3 entries.

Why is writing the EXE file path to the registry necessary for the ShellExtension? The PSPadShell.dll is located in the same directory as the EXE itself. You can just assume that both files are at the same location and thus avoid writing to the registry making PSPad "more" portable

You can have shell extension in other folder
PSPadPath is used for Notepad replacement too - it need to know where PSPad is.

That makes sense, of course
Can you comment on this visual bug I reported for the previous build 2346?
Furthermore, is there any chance that the word-wrap bugs get fixed?

Hello Jan,
There is a new bug introduced in this version when saving a new file.
Here is the way to reproduce it :
- Open PSPad and create a new file:
- Type some characters and press Ctrl+S to save
- Now the file is saved but the small red tick on the Tab is still present.
This bug does not exists in v4.5.4 build 2346
I hope you could fix it in the next release.
Thanks and have a nice day.
Lolo.

Is there a chance to see a expand/collapse-functionality in a next version?
I think this is a main-feature for an editor for programmers.

No.
