hulmgulm:I have a problem with the FTP client in 4.5.4 compared to 4.5.3:Our FTP server has a lot of symbolic links to directories. In 4.5.3 the FTP client showed them as folders and I was able to open then as a folder.
4.5.4 shows them only as files and I cannot open them anymore. Is this a bug or a feature?
Thanks for your great application!!!!
Connect to your FTP server, navigate to folder with symlinks, show FTP LOG (Ctrl+L), press LIST button (on the left side in LOG) and send me result via mail as attachment

If I use the toolbox button "Create new file" and choose XHTML then I get a regular HTML document.
If I use
"File -> New -> Use Template -> XHTML -> XHTML 1.0 Strict utf-8"
then I get the right document but it contains "<head><!-- ščřžýŠČŘŽÝ -->".

Modify .\Template\Default.html file
New file is created from file default.[extenison]

Thank you for your fast reply
BUT
- the "default.xhtml" is different from "default.html"
- creating a new xhtml file is using the "default.html"

As I wrote, PSPad creates new file for extension.
If you want to have different content fr .HTML, you need to modify default.html file

Oh, I think there is misunderstanding.
I have different default templates (for *.html and *.xhtml).
My problem is:
If I create a new file with the toolbar icon "Create new file" with
1. HTML
2. XHTML
then I get the same (!) result - "newX.html".

Again
PSPad takes .<extension> if you create new file.
You create something.html, pspad takes default.html
If you will create something.xhtml, PSPad will take default.xhtml
File name is irelevant in this case

Sorry but this is the problem - PSPad should take default.xhtml but it takes default.html.

This is nonsence discussion.
I explained you PSPad behaviour.
If you want to have different default template for something.HTML, open default.HTML and modify it.
PSPad offers you this possibility, use it.
