Hi Jan, first, many thanks for the new build.
I recognize that sometimes my PSPad don't minimize!!
I have Windows XP Sp3, IE 7 with all patches (Uptodate!).
Not every time, but surely first since using the new build, PSPad is not minimizing when clicking on that button.
Another very good tool is the Code-Explorer for xml. Is it possible to make it faster?
If I'm opening a File of less than 1kB, Pspad needs about 30s to load the XML in Code-Explorer
Thanks in forward.
Greetings Holger

Hi,
since upgrading to latest PSPad 4.5.4 build (2325), whenever I double-click a project file with a txt extension, it opens in a separate notepad window. When I use the "Open as Text" option, it opens in the current PSPad window in a new tab, as was the default option in former PSPad versions. I think the previous handling made more sense.
Regards,
Bernhard

Oh.. and one more:
when I doubleclick a File without extension in Projectexplorer nothing happens. Other Files are opened normally.

PSPad opens know files directly, other files in associated aplication. With right mouse you can choose, if you want to open file as text in PSpad.
Known file is file with extension contained in some highlighter.
If you set PSPad as default application for TXT (Program settings / System), TXT files will open in PSPad too.

Thinker:There is still an old bug with opening other project.
When I got one project opened and I click to open other one I always got the message box "Do you want to close current project?" - and:
1. I dont need that alert.
2. It does not work, click yes or clicking no works same - new project is opened.
There are 2 independent things:
1. close open files
2. close project
E.g. situation
you have some file open e.g. with no project. You want to open project, but you wan to prevent open files
If you cancel Close project confirmation in step 2, PSpad doesn't open new project, but keep old one
