I can start comment if # isn't follow by number, but I don't know how acceptable is it.

Thanks for the js code explorer change. It will be really helpful. The different colors for "private" and "public" methods will also a great help.

For me is very OK.
I guess n is hex number therefore to make the comment highlighting more clear maybe you could start comment if # isn't follow by any number or letter.

I tried to delete few characters by using backspace or delete key but nothing happens. This seems to be a bug in the latest build 2325.
I am not sure whether others faced a similar problem.

It will seem a bit obvious, but have you checked whether the file was read-only or not ?

No its not a read only file. I have checked it. I have tried to extract the cab file again but still the same effect. I am only able to select the text and use the menu to delete the selected text. Otherwise I am unable to use the backspace and delete keys.

You may try to unpack PSPad into another folder, so you have a fresh install, and check your problem again; if this would work, there might be a problem with the setting PSPad.INI, or the internal program chache file PSCache.BIN could be corrupted.
(alternatively you can also temporarily rename these files and see if something changes); I think, some similar problem has been mentioned here in forum, but I don't remember the details and am not able to find it just now.
