Hi all,
I experience a *really* strange feature (in fact a real bug).
I create a new tab (ctrl N) and select text file.
I paste my data.
I press Ctrl-S to save my file but pspad do not open save dialog box.
If I create a new tab (ctrl N) and type something, I can save my file.
It seems to be related to my clipboard content (data from excel).
In both case, there's a red mark on tabs (data modified).
Best regards
pierre

Not sure about this, but you may check the content of the first line, which gets pasted (as well as written) in it. See:
forum.pspad.com
(There is a new function assigning the content of the first file as the filename of new files - without a highlighter; I guess there were some problems with this.).

Have a look if a Tab (0x9) is used anywhere in the first line. Seems to be a bug as vbr mentioned. Any unprintable Characters prevent saving dialog.

Still not stable.
Started new txt file pasted a few paragraphs.
Opened another new txt file (tab) and pasted a paragraph of text and program crashed (access violation).
I was too busy to send info but I'll try and recreate and send.

You're right, if a tab (0x9) is present on first line, dialog box does not appears.
It's not a big problem for me.
Best regards
thanks for tips...
