Hi,
I just noticed the following bug:
When I execute the "Check HTML Code" command in the HTML menu, PSPad shows a list of errors and warnings in the log window. Now when I doubleclick on one of the errors or warnings, PSPad doesn't mark the error in the HTML document any more, nor does it scroll in order to make the line containing the error visible. In the version 4.3.3 this worked ok. This is not very serious, but I wanted to let you know.
Regards

Hi,
it seems that Ctrl-RArrow does not work correctly in this build?
It stops as soon as the cursor hits a "special" charachter like @ (local variable) using the sql highlighter.
Anyone who can confirm this?

Yes I can confirm this bug.
On txt file PSPad stops the cursor on the first non alphanumeric character and you cannot go further.
This behavior does not appear in a C/C++ file for example.

I found a problem in HEX edit MODE.
I open an UTF-8(with BOM) file and switch to HEX edit MODE, but I found the content is not UTF-8, It's UNICODE, the first 2 bytes is $FFFE not BOM, if I change it to white space($2000) and switch to text mode, It will raise an exception:
If I use "File|Open in HEX edit" open this file, it will be OK.
Because the BOM(three bytes at the beginning, $EF, $BB, $BF) is invalid in XHTML, so I must remove it in some UTF-8 files.
Could you add these features?
1.When switch to HEX mode then reload it use HEX(if it is UNICODE file).
2.When switch to another encoding then popup a dialog to choose reload it or change current encoding.
3.Add an enoding is "UTF-8(without BOM)".
4.Auto detect encoding.
Thanks and regards

Also in plain text Ctrl+Arrows stops at special chars (/.-,>. etc), and key must be released and pressed again, to continue. It worked corectly in previous release.

If I put a tag like this one - <style href="basic.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"/> - everything after that has css highlighting. As far as I recall, previous versions of PSPad didn't have this problem. If I type something like <style>...</style> all is well, but I don't want to do that.

you have some misunderstood here, you cannot include a css text file with the <style> tag, you should use the <link> tag
also, <style> needs a closing tag so it's correct that pspad colorize the following code as css until its closing tag is found

Yes, of course. I'm sorry for making a false alarm. It was an in-line stylesheet and then I decided to use an external one forgetting to change the tag. Thank you.

Version 4.5.0 is still beta. In this version was editor component replaced with unicode one. Not all functionality is return back from 4.3.x version.
