The problem with C code explorer I had signalled is gone.
Well done, Jan! lol
There is still some little problem with defines within pre-processor conditional macros being mislooked as function names, anyway this was already present in release 4.3.3 and is not a big problem.
Anyway, I'll send you some sample file via e-mail detailing the problem, if you want to correct it.
Thanks for the new version, have a nice vacation.
Cheers,
Mario

I know // are not brackets. I was just demonstrating that this behavior occurs with other characters as well.
I was not using the PHP Highlighter
I was working on a Text file.
When double clicking a word any characters enclosing a it are selected as well.
Example:
"word"
Double-click on word and the word and quotes are selected.
This is not what you would expect in a text editor and has not been the behavior of PSPad prior to 2127.
Thanks

PSPAD now always saves with DOS line endings. Even if the file was opened with UNIX line ending.
This also affects saving through an FTP connection.

You must delete shortcut what you are using for your letter.
Program settings / KeyMap

I don't mean.
Try open file with UNIX line edns and look into StatusBar.
If you mean you open your file from FTP connection, set connection settings in PSPad FTP to binnary mode or set your FTP server to don't change line ends if handling file as ASCII

All the versions released since 2120 crash running under Windows ME. The program just freezes with the hour glass running. Prior to 2120. PSPad ran but spell check wouldn't work. In the meantime i'll continue to use 433. Thanks for a great program - Dave

Excellent text editor and now so much better with usable word wrap. Great job.
There does, however, appear to one a small (possibly semantic) problem. In Program Settings > Editor Behavior, the tooltip for word wrapping says "Lines will dynamically wrap at right edge mark" but in the copy I just downloaded, the text wraps at the right edge of the window regardless of where I have the right edge mark positioned. For example, if I set the Right Edge Marker at 80 and maximize PSPad, the text wraps at about 120 which is the far right edge of my window.
I'm currently running Windows XP SP1.
Aside from this, and the regular expressions search/replace for new lines (a known bug), this program is great.
Thanks.

Excellent editor !!
Problem found in "Search / Replace in Files" :
1. Open this "Search /Replace in Files" window
2. click the "<<" button to select the current folder
3. File mask: *.*
4. checked "Included subdirctories"
5. check "OK"
and then PSPad got close automatically during searching.
4.5.0 - 2126 don't have this problem.

Statusbar does show UNIX line ending after loading a file but after saving the file is reverted back to DOS line ending (statusbar still showing UNIX), even if I explicitely set it to UNIX before saving.
If you close the file and re-open it, statusbar displays DOS line ending (and the file is indeed saved with DOS line ending)
This happens on local files and FTP files.
Previous versions preserved the line ending when saving. Reverting back to DOS on every save is not nice (it breaks my shell scripts).
