Main menue ALT-Hotkeys not functional at German language

In German Language no ALT- Hotkey will go.
Nothing none.

Only the underline Char will show up at keypress of Alt Key.

In English all is ok.

Which PSPad version do you use? The "Alt" shortcuts work for me in Version 5.0.3(337) and 5.0.4(381).

The Menu doesnt pull down at ALT Key Pressed.

Only the Underline show's up

I found the reason....

I there is an HotKey with the same Chr then the Alt-Menu doesn't puls down.

Sample:
Alt-D (for the first Main-Menue "&Datei) has the same Key as "Insert-Date" Hotkey.
After removing the Hotkey, the Main-Menu ist pulls down after Alt-D

Now i ust search for all Alt-Key in the Keyboard setting.....

Do you mean the "Deutsch.ini" with the ";;Translate" parts?

Yes, I mean Deutch.ini, section [Main menu]
e.g.
mFile_Caption=&File
char & means that letter F is hotkey.

Do you still need a translation of the missing passages in the Deutsch.ini, or do you already have one?

Please note:

-For menu item like first Menu "&Datei" (Alt,D)
press and release the Alt+key, next press D

-For non-menu shortcuts like command "Insert-Date", use Alt+D together

- The shortcuts for the commands are defined via configuration dialog:
Einstellungen > Programm einstellen... >> Tastaturbelegung >>> Insert

(BTW: The shortcuts for the script are defined inside of the scripts itself)
