#1 Support "Search and replace content in all files?"

I have a lot of files without extension, and in each file I want to change the text and save the changes with encoding.
Unfortunately, there is no text editor that could handle this task? Impossible in PSPad.

Dir: C:\Project\Many MultipleFiles
Include: Sub-Folder
Find: some text
Replace with: some other text
File Types: ^[^.]*$

First - move files into work folder - you don't need to care of what files you want to work with
Second - change encoding to one common
Third - make replace

All steps are logical and don't depend of the editor. But user with brain is required

Start worrying when you have countless files, especially those of extremely small size.

I want to see that he did it PSPad.
You haven't even tried Replace 1000.000.000.000 words smiling smiley and you tell me I don't have a brain.

For any case you have to find coresponding tool. Any tool isn't universal for everything
And cause I don't need to do your work and your work isn't related to PSPad, you need to find another forum.

In your case I suggest you to start with databases. You can store your file content as database records, index it and manipulaye content with data manipulation language.

Well I have exhausted all computer resources - STACK OWERFLOW and BSOD (crash system) /PSPad

I have a tool that will open a really unimaginably large file. But it won't open many files with the same total size.
(1 file) Total Size: 2GB Replace: 10.000.000 words = 8 second replace
(1M file) Total Size: 2GB (Not work or not support)

Please help me how to turn off loading of 100000+ tabs during startup PSPad (because it cannot be handled).
I want Reset/Abort this Action.
