Auto-Detect Encoding not support??? (Option Files Default CP)
Open file - correct encoding
Copy/paste - wrong Encoding

After change of encoding, you need to reload document (Ctrl+R)
PSPad works this way from the begin.
Everything is described in help.
So problem is on your side!

You didn't send me any example. Your screenshots are useless for testing problem.
Send me some HTML source what causes problem. Then we can continue.
