This archive contains modified files only. The correct way how to get full functionality:
1. Download and install latest full version!!!
2. Replace existing files with content of archive

Tip: If you want to speed up start and you don't use FTPS connection, delete files libssl32.dll and libeay32.dll in the root of PSPad.

XML converter - new user highlighter + Code explorer (Michael Seume )
New option ForceSaveWork=0/1 (Program settings / Direct edit) will save open and recent files after each change instead of program close

Yeah! Great! You also forgot about 4-byte UTF-8 and surrogate pairs, they also work fine!

In the normal editor view, the file was saved as ansi. opend in pspad460b2653 without a problem and in pspad460b2656 the umlaut is broken.

Can you send me any your file to support mail?
Can you check regional settings / last tab / System administration if there is German for non unicode applications?

Ok, mail send and the regional settings for non unicode programms is German (Germany).

Similar problem here, occured on German system with a file that contained a longer dash (Alt + 0150).

It can be some PSPad cache issue. I got Russian character lost for auto-load files, running this build first time. Close/open file has solved this problem.

The field for "Documentary comments" in Highlighter Setting only allows 2 characters. Is that correct?
