Oh, and this screenshot reminded me of something. Is there any way to change the color of urls ? Currently, in text highlighting, they're shown with a blue-ish color and i couldn't find any setting to change that (look at the first line in the screenshot)... sorry if it's obvious. It's just that url links are hard to spot on my blue background smiling smiley

On my display, the inexact positioning of the wrap line starts to become visible at large font sizes (>=12). When I tried to set the font size experimentally to 16, I noticed that the zero point of the ruler moves noticeable to the right from where it should be. This one was taken with Courier New @ 16: image
(Note that cursor is after the tenth character.)

The cursor as well as the right edge line seem to be correct; some kind of inexact positioning appears by the ruler (depending on the font size):

More or less exact positioning I got with font size 8 (Courier New; right edge line 80, cursor at 81 (=80 chars before the cursor) in all screenshots)

Font size 3:

Font size 148 (pos. 81):

Font size 148 (pos. 1):

Font size 15:

PSPad 4.5.2 (2237) Win XPp, but it is likely to be the same in other versions.

Sorry for the large screenshots, I noticed the filesize first after I finished ... smiling smiley

Jan, your last answer to dsmart (Date: 2006-09-19 13:42) :

To dsmart:

1. if you want to pass 2 files as PSPad parameter, enclose file names into double quotes

is the solution for my problem (Date: 2006-09-03 20:13) :

Thanks Jan for this new update 2237 smiling smiley

I have tried if you have right corrected my problem "start PSPad from the command window". It seems not sad smiley

I show you how i verify that it is not corrected.
1) PSPad 2237 is not yet running.
2) With TC, I start a DOS window
3) On the DOS window i do : "CD .." followed on the prompt "D:\>" by "c:\tools\pspad\PSPad.exe -R C:\catalog\file.ext" , I keep the DOS window opened.
4) It opens right PSPad with file.ext (We have on the title bar "PSPad - [C:\catalog\file.ext R/O]"
5) On PSPad, I do a file / close.
6) On DOS windows, I do "F3" to do again "c:\tools\pspad\PSPad.exe -R C:\catalog\file.ext"
7) PSPad blinks on the task bar with the "file.ext" file name but the PSPad window is empty and the title bar shows "PSPad - [-R C:\catalog\file.ext]". (There is no more the "*" at the end like before)

Can you investigate more to correct it ? tongue sticking out smiley

Thanks again for you others new implementations in PSPad winking smiley

Thanks tongue sticking out smiley

Hi Jan,

Notice the 3 areas highlighted in Green in the following image. These were taken using a standard 11 pt "Courier New" font.

Thanks,

#47 BUG in SendTo

Posted by: Tonda | Date: 2006-09-26 07:25 | IP: IP Logged

Hi,

if i have
a) an open document in PSPad and
b) use the 'SendTo' command in Explorer to open *two or more* files
then
a) only one of those files is opened
b) the open file is empty (!!!)

It works if you send only one file.

To zdub:
I try it again in build 2237 and what you said is right.
The replace function do have some problem.
I guess it didn't search the new content after first replace take effect.
To observe the problem, please check option "Prompt Each Replace" and select direction "Entrie Scope"

Search "1ab 2cd 3ef 4gh 5ij" Replace " " with "\n"

Click 'Yes' button for first replace, the content become
"1ab
2cd 3ef 4gh 5ij"

You can notice the cursor stay in "c". If click 'Yes' button again,
nothing is replaced and cursor stay in "e"...

If I try to replace " " with "\t",
PSPad works good.
If I try to replace " " with "_x_",
PsPad give me "1ab_x_2cd_x_3ef 4gh 5ij" which is strange too.
