Multi-Search

If PSPad finds what you want you look for, COPY button will copy the same result into new tab. What is selected by regular expression selected, this is copied. Nothing more, nothing less.

You are right. Anything sucks if you don't know how to use it, if you don't want to learn anything new. If you will work with chainsaw without knowledges, result will be more fatal for you that wrong regular expression.

I know the regex but the software has limits. Do you understand?

Limits? Search string is defined as String, it means length is theoretically limited by Integer variable 2 147 483 647 bytes.
Why do you ask for limits when your regular expression doesn't work?

I told you it several times already.
Each 32bits process is limited by 2GB of RAM. This limits program, it's data e.t.c.
PSpad works internally with text in Unicode - 2 bytes per char.
Add undo buffers e.t.c.

PSPad is programmer editor, it means it is projected to edit source code. Isn't projected to work with hundreds MB length files.

Ask please MS to modify Edit windows control. If there is limit, it's applied to Edit control, not to PSPad

Ask M$, ask the EP forum, ask ... ask ask .. create a million accounts in various forums ... an already asked but in my case it is impossible.

Suggest your mutiline search request as new topic with good description to others. Note, they mus be capable to understand it.
If there will be enough users who will find it useful, I will implement it.

For edit control without limit you need to send your request to MS. I can use controls what are offered by Windows.
