Hello
have you loaded PSPad dark color scheme or set in program settings / Colors
Font color - white
Background - dark
I tested it and search / List or Search in files and all colors are correct

Program settings / Color is really set with white foreground (font) and dark background?
Save your scheme under your name and try to load PSpad dark scheme. You can do iut in the highlighter settings

Sorry, i didn't see your answer.
I decided to start from scratch in case the problem was caused by and old file of mine so i took "pspad503en.zip" and put "pspad504b511.zip" in it.
Then i applied PSPad dark scheme and i have grey on white...
So not very good.
I tried something else and it is much better even it's not the style i would have applied : Program Settings --> Colors --> PSPad IDE Style. I'm on "Windows" and with my white police it is white on white on log windows for "Search in Files Results but with "Windows 10 SlateGray" and "Carbon" i have a dark background

Program settings / Colors
If you change skin to dark, you need to set color scheme to dark too, e.g. PSPad dark

I switched back and forth bitween differents combinaisons of PSPad IDE style and Color Scheme and i think there times where Color Theme is not really taking place .
Point is i wasn't able to reproduce the fix :|
But i put changes on the side and with comparison isaw that this modifications in PSPad.ini are a solution :
[Font]
MainFontColor=-16777208
MainBackColor=-16777211
BlockColor=-16777203
BlockFont=-16777202
BlockOccur=10469119

Those settings are part of color scheme.
Color scheme contains Highlighter color settings + PSPad color settings
Can you send me screenshot what is wrong from your point of view?
