The version ignored my PSPad.INI and created a new one, i.e. I would have lost all my settings.
I had to secure and rename the previous version to PSPad.INI to restore my settings.

PSPad creates pspad.ini.bak so you have your settings automatically backed up anytime you cjange settings

I found a problem. PSpad should write into [config] section variable
FirstRun=1
This occured when PSPad is started first time. In you are second user who reports it to me. When First run occurs, PSpad loads PSPad light color scheme.

You can use BAK file, add FirstRun=1 into config.

I guess PSpad doesn't "clear" your file, the only problem is PSpad loads default highlighter scheme

thx for looking min/max problem, it works fine now!

indeed I also encountered the loss of highlighting in the ini file
recovered it from a previous version

also an exception message + terminate after installing

i had to delete the cache file and now everything works fine ; perhaps the cache file should be deleted after every new version install? (in my case i "install" it just by copying the zip contents...)

PSPad cache file is compatible inside 5 version. When PSPad detects it's corruption, PSPad deletes it.
