pspad.poradna.net

This archive contains modified files only. The correct way how to get full functionality:
1. Download and install latest full version
2. Replace existing files with content of archive

Tip: If you want to speed up start and you don't use FTPS connection, delete files libssl32.dll and libeay32.dll in the root of PSPad.
Info: File locking support for more team cooperation is near finished

Changes to 4.5.8 (2471)

Updated libraries Synapse (FTP, HTTP communication), MP Hex editor

File R/O attribute was removed after file save
FTPS - fixed file listing on VSFTP servers

MLSD not working for my server in PSPad despite it working fine in FileZilla. Could it be down to the -la switch you are putting on the end?

FileZilla sends
CWD /public_html
250 OK. Current directory is /public_html
PWD
257 "/public_html" is your current location
TYPE I
200 TYPE is now 8-bit binary
PASV
227 Entering Passive Mode (208,76,82,62,173,23)
MLSD
150 Accepted data connection
226-Options: -a -l
226 114 matches total

PSPad is sending
CWD /public_html
250 OK. Current directory is /public_html
TYPE A
200 TYPE is now ASCII
PASV
227 Entering Passive Mode (208,76,82,62,179,163)
MLSD -la
150 Accepted data connection
226-Options: -a -l
226 0 matches total

If I send any other command then using the RAW FTP command option PSPad just locks up until the connection times out.

Also just noticed that I have binary transfer mode ticked yet PSPad is saying to use ASCII. Ignore that I see you are setting it before the file transfer although it should be set at the initial connection.

Fixed it. The issue lies with the 'Show hidden files' option. If I disable it the extra switches are not added to the MLSD command and my files get listed as expected.

I am however getting a . and two .. directories listed.

Minor bug this release, every time I open the toolbar has "forgotten" its layout and is broken over two rows.

Not a big issue as I leave it open most of the time & it only takes a few seconds to re-arrange. Any ideas ?

You can switch off/on any toolbar from the menu View / Tollbars
If the settings isn't remembered, it means PSPad has no rights to write into it's config file. Didn't you installed PSPad as portable into program files? Is other settings remembered?

I'm also seeing the issue with the toolbars. I am admin on my XP laptop. The new files were copied into the install directory.

I have the first five toolbars enabled all on one row. I close PsPad, reopen it, and the toolbar positions are not saved. They are now spread across two rows with a large gap between the second row toolbars.

Other settings seem to be remembered.

1. go to program settings / Backup and look where the path for configuration leads
2. can you make some screenshot before closing and after PSPad restart?

Yay, thanks!

I didn't realize you did so much work on each release. We appreciate it.
