Jan as I commented earlier the Javascript highlighting is broken with this version. Possibly something that was changed in Synedit.

Just noticed that Javascript highlighting seems to be messing up.

if (b != "Netscape")

For some reason it doesn't appear to be recognising the closing ". This is also true when using '

a) Highlight Matching Brackets does not work in this build. I reverted back to 2357.

b) Is it possible to refresh Code Explorer from a keyboard (not only from an icon, with the mouse)? (or, better, anytime Code Explorer is accesed. Maybe, as an option in setup).

Highlight matching brackets for what language? I check it, but I can miss some highlighter.

Doesn't work for JavaScript. Works for i.e. Java. smiling smiley

It also fails to match the brackets in c/c++ files

File change detection

File change detection on Win7 64bit dual monitors is not fixed.

When switching to the right monitor then setting focus on PSPad on the left monitor, it says file is changed and it was not.

It doesn't happen every time, but most times. Gets pretty annoying and would be nice to have a switch to not check for file changes.

I ran into a few problems while testing this version
* CTRL-SHIFT-I (shortcut for indention) no longer works
* With Wordwrap enabled PSPad still crashes when a line exceeds ~700 character. Strangely it doesn't happen when using copy-paste to create a long line
* The code-explorer fails to work(doesn't display anything) with some of my C++ files. A sample can be found here eld.leidenuniv.nl

Ctrl+Shift+I works. Checks, if no application doesn't register it as system shortcut

To wordwrap problem i need detailed info to simulate it

Code explorer is limited by file size to automatic explore files. You need to press refresh button in Code explorer toolbar. To change it go to
Program settings / Direct edit
Increase value of:
CodeExplorerLimit=200000

Well this is actually quite simple:
- Enable wordwrap
- Hold down a single key so it will keep spitting out characters. After a while (normally around 2000 or 3000 characters) it crashes. But I've also seen it happen at position 700.

Problem got introduced somewhere after 4.5.2 and it would be really nice if you could fix this sucker. Thanks!

Hi,

with this beta I seem to get

"Data has been changed. Do you want to reload?"

almost every time pspad is getting focus after I have been doing other stuff in other applications.

Are there any settings I have missed?

I have reverted back to 2357 where I don't have this annoying problem.
