new parameter in the [Special settings] (Program settings / Direct edit) - TransparencyLevel (0..255) allows you set trasparency for main window. Lower value means higher transarency.

I thing about way to show script file without writing special edit script function and this was a simply way how to do it.

I need confirmation if memory problems continue or not.
If this build will be more stable, I will update 4.5.3 full version.

We will need a few days to make sure. The problems with the last build weren't obvious; they only showed up after some days of using PSPad for me.
It's kind of a sad irony that almost all the beta versions in the last months were far more stable than the official release version build 2291.

Can you check this when you have time, I'm trying to set-up this as a compiler:

Compiler: c:\compile.bat

Parameters:
-p c:\compile.p | c:\tee.exe C:\compile.log

Log File: c:\work\compile.log

tee.exe is part of the UnxUtils, a collection of Unix commands for Windows, which permits you to see the result of a command on screen and also save it to a file.

This setup works fine from the Project compiler but not from the generic compiler, every time I save this in the generic compiler the | gets replaced by " and the command doesn't work as expected. A similar setup works also fine from the Favorite tools, just the generic compiler doesn't run it like this.

I made a typo, the Log File is C:\compile.log, same as saved by the tee command.

PSPad still crashes in some cases, but now without "invalid pointer operation (etc)" alert - just closes.
