Great! I'll be patient and keep an eye on the betas.
Thanks,
René

No, it shows "DOS CodePage : ANSI" in the status bar.

Hi Jan!
Many thanks for this Christmas release!
The strange behaviour I've reported in 4.5.0 (2164) beta about the mouse wheel scrolling is still there. In the post where I've wrote about the problem, some post after mine you wrote: "It's problem of the Synedit component - editor base", but I don't understand if yours is a replay to my problem or something else...
Many thanks again!
Best wishes!

You left out the "spell" directory on the full install. (This also had the "lorem ipsum" dictionary in it.) Great work. PSPad is my default editor for just about everything.

Thank you very much for the great editor.
I have one feature request and one minor bug report.
1. Can you provide an option that allow the ReadOnly mode in PSPad to be in sync with the file ReadOnly attribute? I work with source control system, so the files' ReadOnly attribute changes frequently as I check in and check out files. I wish that PSPad can detect that the readonly file attribute has been changed by other programs, and then change the readonly mode in PSPad accordingly. I think that the current setting "RO mode changes file attribute" can be replaced with "RO mode in sync with file attribute". In this way, whenever the user changes readonly mode in PSPad or other programs change the readonly file attribute, PSPad always keeps the attribute and the mode the same.
2. IN the file list tab of the tool panel, the item corresponding to the active file is always selected. But if I open a new file (by drag-and-drop, or by right mouse click, or by selecting the menu), the new file is open and active, but the selected item in the file list tab does not change.
Thanks
Happy New Year!

Sometimes I need to copy Subroutines. Would be nice if the code explorer could copy/paste or mark complete Subs.

Pogram settings / Program behaviour
Uncheck [x]R/O mode changes file attribute
You can edit R/O files in PSPad (menu File/ReadOnly or Lock button on the toolbar) and PSPad will keep file attributes

Press the synchronize button on the File explorer toolbar
