Any text with any txt file. No highlighter.
With "Wrap (soft) with Right Edge" checked in user settings only 1st line shows.
You can type text below and nothing shows. You can also open a txt file and, if "Wrap (soft) with Right Edge" is checked and wrap enabled on toolbar only 1st line shows.
With "Wrap (soft) with Right Edge" in user settings unchecked it works fine.
But in "Direct Edit" I have wrap on under "config" and wrap on under special settings and "Wrap (soft) with Right Edge" unchecked in user settings and text is visable.
Works as it should.

On Windows XP Pro x64 (more or less Windows 2003 ;) ), the tabs don't show filename nor file number. Happened in the last beta I had installed (2134) as well.

Search function in this forum doesn't work ?
Program settings / Direct edit
SimpleFileTabs=1
And please contact M$ and ask him, why the standard Windows control under Windows 64 doesn't supports the owner draw method

"wrap with right edge" causes some characters to be displayed twice
For example, if my right edge is at 80 characters, I can go to the right edge, type another character, and that character will appear twice.

By the way, the highlighter I am using is PHP.

Not sure whether this is a known bug or not (is there a known-bug list somewhere?)

Yes, the bug forum.
But if people like you don't use this forum
one couldn't find such related threats.
Better is to use for such posts
the bug forum and post it there
with an good and clear subject.
(e.g. "problem entering a blank after the = char" )
Thank you.
mod
==============
I have a weird problem with entering a blank after I typed the = character in a new file.
I open up PSPad and start typing:
a = 1
but it only gives
a =1
and I have to type in 2 blanks after the = in order to get the right-handed blank I want.
After saving the file, it still doesn't work. I have to restart PSPad and load the file, then everything works fine.

Hi Jan,
this version is a big improvement, as far as I am concerned.
The C code explorer works fine for me now.
The strange symbols at the end of lines after slash seem to have almost disappeared, even though I saw one of them once, but I cannot give you any clue about it.
The problem with the search-in-files function is still there, obviously.
About this problem, one thing that has come to my mind (as a programmer) is that it looks like the search string is sometimes displayed in the box, but maybe not stored in the associated variable. Does this make any sense for you?
Thanks again for the new beta, keep up with the good work.
Mario

Syntax Highlight not work with utf8-javascript-file. Must change manually to JavaScript.

If you want to hihglight JavaScript in the JS highlighter instead of Multihighlighter, go to Program settings / Multihighlighter and uncheck Open JS in Multihighlighter
