Hello,
I asked a ChatGpt Secret key from psPad ChatGpt popup window, enetered it.

Then just wrote Whatever, the reply is always

HTTP response code: 404
HTTP response code: 404

Should I buy an openAi paid plan?

Open AI changed rules, so you really need to buy any plan to use API.
Personally, I prepaid $5, it's enough for half of year.

When I try it from time to time, it very often ends with request timeout. There is too many request and they prefer users with prepaid ChatGPT plus and their web interface before the rest.

So I can't recommend to spent money for it.

In such cases, I just wait and repeat the request later. I don't see the point in paying

Yes — a 404 error usually means the API key isn’t valid for the request you’re making. Buying a paid OpenAI plan and using a proper API key should fix it.
