I'm sure this is not a bug, just my inability to understand the doc. Somehow, I accidentally undocked the code explorer and can't get it to redock. I see in the help where it says to drag the top of the code explorer to redock it, but clearly I have no idea how to do that as I can't get it to work.

Catch window title if undocked explorer and move it to the left panel (default) or to the right panel (if no visible than right side of main window) and drop it there

yeah that's what I've been trying, but it isn't working. I'm on 5.0.7 (761) if that makes a difference.
Is there an ini setting I could modify?

I tested it before I answered you
Make Left tool panel visible (Menu view or Ctrl+F2)
Drag title of undocked window and drop it into left panel area
