This one was hard to pinpoint because I was so used to how the non-developer version worked. But the problem is this developer version has some stumbling blocks for me to get around. Some of the new functions are getting in my way, for example, on the old version, if I wanted to backspace with the shift key held down, PSPad would go back one space. The developer version removes the entire line!! Is there a way to change this behavior?
And also, after it removes the line, if I press ctrl z to go back, sometimes there is no history for it to go back to. It's very frustrating because I've completely lost whatever I typed on that line with no way to get it back. Is there a way for me to have the same functionality in the developer version that I had in the older version?
Thanks
Frank

Shift+BckSpace isn't assigned by default.
Open program settings / KeyMap
Press Print button and find in page: Shift+BkSp
Then select section, list command and remove maping for Shift+BkSp

Hi,
it seems, this shortcut is preselected somehow (at least I don't remember to set it individually, and it behaves as described here).
Even for a fresh PSPad version (5.0.7; 747; 32bit)
with only PSPad.exe in a new directory, there is this entry in the shortcut list:
Editor
...
DeleteBOL Shift+BkSp

It means delete to begin of line.
Maybe it was added on the request in the past
On the other side, it's easy to redefine or remove it from command.
