Hi!
I've updated to a bigger monitor and would like to change the default font in PSPad editor. I have figured out how to increase the size, but I have been wondering whether there is a way to have the default font bold (Courier New), pls?
Many thanks in advance for any help!

How did you change the default font? This is done via menu bar "Format | Font", where you can also set the style.
I recommend to keep the style "Regular". The setting will interfere with highlighter styles.

Hello
If you want to have bold font, use any monospaced TTF font from internet, downloat it's bold version and put it into PDPad Fonts subfoldr. You don't need to install it into system fonts.
Fonts like FiraCode e.t.c.

Thanks for your reply, tmpad. Any changes to the style in Format/Font menu have no effect for me, even when running PSPad as an administrator. Just the size.

Thank you for your reply, pspad. Good idea! BTW FiraCode itself is already present and available.

I have actually resolved the issue, I think.
My problem was the default font was too thin on my new 4k display.
Choosing the following solved this:
psapad.exe/properties/compatibility/change high dpi settings/high dpi settings override/System (Enhanced)
Hope it helps someone
