#1 Make the visible/hidden status of the side panel persistent

Latest versions of PSPad now seem to remember the last tab selected on the side panel (via the LastTab parameter in PSPad.ini), but that feature seems to be forcing the side panel to be always shown (visible) each time I launch PSPad, no matter if I wanted it to be hidden.

Please, add support to remember also the visible/hidden status of that side panel accross different PSPad executions, as some of us prefer it to be hidden by default when PSPad is launched.

Thank you.

Hello

I just tested it.
Left panel appear after start in case you have Code explorer docked there. Open file is automatically parsed in Code explorer and to have code explorer hidden has no sense.

I can add some intelligence - don't parse file if docked code explorer isn't vissible.

Another case when Left panel appear automatically is in case you open project

I modified behavior and left panel stays closed even Code explorer is there.

Thank you for your support.

This will helpful for those who, like me, use PSPad even for the most simple plain text editing task.
