Triggering of error highlighting in log-win via VBScript

Yes, it will same behavior.
When you will call your script, I guess it will find error, you set cursor to line in the editor and you will call markEditorLine(line) function.
It will have same behavioer - when you change cursor position in the editor, red (or what color is set) will disappear.
