How do you open multiple files at once?
Eg 100 text files with a total size: 2000 MB (2 GB)
I tried the best 64-bit Editors and can not do it.
Failure every time and using huge amounts of RAM, which can immediately end up with a computer crash (100% RAM [12GB] + 100% Virtual Memory 12000MB)

I will celebrate day when you will give all information in your question tongue sticking out smiley

What way do you use to open your files?
Command line?
PSPad open dialog?
Context menu over selected files in explorer or any manager and if yes, how is PSPad intgrated into context menu. Using DLL or registry?

I just wanted to open several larger text files 20M-300MB.
Simple! Open PSPad. I drag all text files (31 files) to the application, I need to confirm every time: "It's sure you want to open ..."
But unfortunately it does not always work in PSPad and in all other TXT Editor, always errors, CRASH smiling smiley

This message here is an general text, nothing special to you.
Jan gets all forum posts by mail additionally, so nothing is lost here.
.
You can still report bugs here, that is fine and very welcome.
Please use an most descriptive Subject line (PSPad version, what happens,...).
.
Don't post the log here, rather send them to Jan by mail.
Post maybe only some information from the log 'header' and 'footer',
(like I has left back) so others can see that something related is going on.
.
Thank you for your understanding.
.
Also please describe most exactly what you have done
right before and e.g. how often that error occurs.
- For example:
- PSPad runs for x hours.
- I had n files open.
- Problematic file in question was a *.XXX with X byte in size.
- If I click/do/execute (..accurate instructions here..)
- I had expected:
- But I got instead:
- I can reproduce this every time / only once.
- I had verified that with:
--- older/newer builds
--- on other Computers
--- with other files, and I can report...
-
.
Thank you very much!
