Emmet works fine here.

Which OS do you have?

Mine is Win7 64bit.

@Manfred
For me the other scripts are working without admin rights. Only Emmet won't.

Hmm, anybody knows how to configure Windows7 x64 to get the scripts also as non-admin?

On the other side, just tried again (PSPad as admin with Emmet). No chance --> WSH error.

In the moment I think, the dependencies of PSPad with this WSH crap are no good idea. It's too buggy and very vulnerable for misconfigurations.

Manfred the version in the downloads is still th eold broken version. You can find the link for the working version in the comments at github.com

As to Scripts working without admin they work fine for me here on for me on 32bit Windows 7. I do think I had to run PSPad the once as admin but after that it was fine.

@carbonize:
thanks for the link to new emmet version. Now it's ok!!

Now I have to solve my admin/no-admin problem. This is the point of time when this problem occurs first. Before, all was running fine (PSPad portable, no admin rights).

any ideas?

Wonder if the recent update to IE 10 is responsible for your problems.

Until now don't have the IE10. The problem occurs with a update from IE8 to IE9. After mentioned the problems, gone back to IE8. But no chance, the user rights for sripting were already mixed up.. angry smiley

Now I have to find the right key in Windows to fix this. To find such things in Windows? Nearly unpossible, sure?

any hints appreciated

You can roll back from IE9 to IE8 via control panel -> programs and features -> view installed updates (on the left). Suspect the exact wording is different due to your first language. Just uninstall IE9 and it will roll back to IE8 although I do suggest IE10.

That's exactly what I did. But the scripting rights didn't changed back.. sad smiley

About IE 8/9/10: only testing with IE in web development. So I stayed with version 8 to test my sites on 'lowest IE level' (compatibility).

My workaround for PSPad: created a shortcut to start PSPad as admin. So I get the prompt, enter password, go. That's one step more, but ok so far.

Tried it, but doesn't run at all... Short flash of console, nothing more.
