pspad:hankejh:Hey Jan, I would pay a fat license to get PSPad ported to Mac OSX.There is no way how to compile Borland Delphi for MAC
No worries, just a dream.
Can anyone report ongoing success running PSPad using WinXP/Parallels and coherence?

No - but I can confirm that (I) run PSPad without any problems on Mac OS X 10.5.3 (Intel) - when run through CrossOver 7.0 (released yesterday)
Running PSPad under the prevoius CrossOver 6.2.1 gave a few problems using find (see forum.pspad.com)
Unfortunately CrossOver is now for free - But Darwine is and its version just reached version 1.0.
I hope some of the Mac OS X folks out there can use this approach as an alternative to a native port - works fine for me.

Ask Embarcadero (current Delphi owner) to add native Mac OS X support to Delphi.

I just installed CrossOver 8.0.1 on Max OSX Leopard 10.5.8, and then attempted to install PSPad 4.5.5 (235) -- installation failed.
I'm posting the failure log with a note in the CrossOver forum for PSPad here: www.codeweavers.com
Has anyone else had success with this setup?

In the roadmap of Delphi by Embarcadero, they're working on Project X: Compiling native Delphi code (Object Pascal) for Windows, Linux and MacOS X. Wait another year and then hopefully...

Any news on the progress of Embarcadero's Project X (compiling to Mac OSX / Linux)?

I told it before. To use "Project X" is necessary rewrite many code. It means no progress
