I can't confirm that. I have the code explorer turned off by default, and still the splash screen goes blank for approximately half a second before the program is loaded. But I don't mind much.

I've been observing the same thing for quite a while now, and it also happened with builds prior
to 2199. On my machine it looks like this:

The one thing I would like to add is that while the "find in files" method is quite likely to produce this behavior,
(a) it is by no means the only case in which it occurs, and
(b) it does *not* happen always when I do as Heiner described.

For me, the background of the small rectangles has always been white so far, and the "strange content" always looks like parts of the "Ximian" toolbar that I use.

So any thoughts or comments on the word wrap option being randomly disabled with all files and always being disabled with read-only files issue?
Thanks and keep up the good work.

#26 Comment's height problem?

With Highlighter, the comment's line-height is smaller than of normal. So it not show underscore characters "_".
ex.
// P_S_PAD => // P S PAD

Great,

but ... perhaps i'm stupid, but i don't find " F1InEditor in the [Special Settings] section "

where do I have to go to find it ?

Sorry to be so stupid and annoying, but at my age, it's difficult to hope any change ...

thanks for your ( as usual) quick response.
