It's very strange. Comments work for me.
Please tell me more details - e.g. highlighter name e.t.c.

Hello Jan,
Nothing important but there is a small cosmetic problem (I think) with the splash screen at startup.
This picture becomes totally white (not refreshed) during two seconds and then PSPad is fully load.
I have made some tests with older version and it seems that PSPad take more time to be launched than previous version.
It would not be strange if the picture of the splash screen would not disappear.
I hope you have understood what I mean.
Thanks and have a nice day.

I see it too but it becomes white when PSPad is loading
Have a look to the following picture
Can you confirm that this new version is a little bit longer to load than previous?

Nor for me. I thing it depends of the OS.

I forgot to mentioned that I reproduced that behavior (Splash Screen) on Windows 2000 sp4 and Windows XP sp2

I observe the white splash screen, too. But on my machine it's so short I wouldn't even have noticed it if I hadn't read this.

Jan Schreiber

The splash screen going all white or almost all white seems to be related to the Code Explorer window being enabled or not (at least on my system). It seems as if it initially draws part of the Code Explorer window in the middle of the screen which causes the splash screen to blank out and then shifts it over to the right side.
In any case, if I set the Code Explorer window to not be displayed, the Splash Screen remains visible the whole time.
