Yet again application error with this version.
There were 8 open files (opened via FTP).
I guess the error happened after closing a file:
List index out of bounds (230)

Apparently, I saw that my file Recent.ini contained in the middle some binary chars in the [script] tag. After I removed these chars, PSPad acted normally again... Perhaps this is the problem?

Some other strange char phenomenon.
I open some files via FTP, it happens sometimes that 1 file contains Chinese chars in the tab's tooltip. The name in the tab is correct.
But when saving the file, an error occurs "connection: ...chinese chars".
Then I close this file and after reopen all is OK...

Hello everybody,
with this version I get occasional crashes due to access violation. Unfortunately I can not send the log, because the window 'application error' can not be reached. There is a smaller window in front of it, with an OK button. Hitting this a couple of times will not help getting rid of it. So, I have to close PSPad via task manager. All I can show you is this screenshot: snipboard.io
This access violation happened when I double-clicked a PHP in my file-explorer (FreeCommander XE) to open it - a file I had not touched for three days.
Friendly greetings
Ravelli

Hello,
I also find chars in the text editor screen that are not really in the original file.
Maybe a problem in the file loader ?
Kind regards

Hello,
Please find below the stack dump that appeared when I clicked on the document (not sure exactly if left or right click)
There were two tabs with the same file name (from different folders)
After the first time, it appears repeatedly every time I single left click on any part of the document.
Kind regards

Hi Jan,
thank you very much for the updates.
Unfortunately I have found a misbehavior:
Exception description:
Cannot open file "...current path..\PSPad.ini".
Exception class: EFOpenError
PSPad.exe 5.0.7 (681)
.
I had just unpacked the last developer build into a new folder.
I know this is just an update to overwrite our older files with,
but me think such basic as creating an new PSPad.ini if not found
should not stop the app from launching and instead crashing.
I would like to suggest to create just a new, fresh ini if not found
in the same folder as the exe is and as it was with older builds too.
Copying my old PSPad.ini or just
creating an new textfile named PSPad.ini solve this problem for me.
.

Thanks Jan,
I didn't knew were to send the report, the Mail button in the error dialog does not work for me, it tries to open the email client, but I always use web mail, my email application is not configured.
Hint: include the email address in the "Copy to Clipboard" data. This may help other people in the same situation.
Kindest regards

Hello
In the about program dialog is e-mail, on the pspad web is e-mail. I will put e-mail address into exception dialog too.
