I can confirm that. When you close a tab by clicking the middle mouse button (scroll wheel), almost all remaining tabs (captions) become invisible.

If you apply "Close to right" on the last tab of a row and the next (last) row of tabs is closed, an empty row remains.

My PSPad IDE Style: "Windows 10 SlateGray".

It should be fixed in yesterday build

I updated by unzipping the contents of the 597 64bit file into my 64bit installation folder (C:\Program Files\PSPad). After starting up PSPad I noticed that all my custom settings were reversed (e.g. tab width, window size, highlighter options, etc.).

Since older 32bit PSPad builds had the habit of randomly reverting to the default PSPad.INI settings I took a manual backup of my working PSPad.INI file a few months ago. Once I noticed that the 597 build reintroduced this settings problem I stopped PSPad, copied my backup PSPad.INI file over the current one in the %APPDATA%\PSPad directory and restarted PSPad again.

There should be PSPad.ini.old in the PSPad folder. This is the last valid backup.
Can you try the 598 build? I made some fixes.

If it happen again, can you please send me your PSPad.ini into support mail?

I installed the 598 build and didn't have the settings issue after updating. However tab display issues does still exist with 598 for me and caused a number of PSPad crashes when opening/closing files. I forwarded one crash report to you on the day before yesterday.

Fix of the disply issues is planned for weeknd's build
Please send me more exception reports from the current version. Old logs doesn't help me.
