Hello PSPad!
The maximized problem is still there I guess?
When no file is open: open a file, the file is not maximized anymore.
Then maximize the opened file. All subsequent files will nowopen maximized (= OK).
But after closing them all, any new file will be opened not as maximized again...

Can you tell me the way you open new file?
I was forced to remove maximize from global settings, cause it makes flickering and now I need to catch all individual ways.

1) open PSPad
2) no files are opened
3) in the explorer panel I mostly select a file using FTP ; but the problem is also when selecting a file from the local disk
4) double-click the file... the file contents are in a window ; not maximized

Hi, this last version (527) has been blocked by my anti-virus as "Mal/Generic-S" (from Sophos)... the previous version (521) is ok...
Perhaps something wrong in the binaries?

False positive. Send report to Sophos. There is no change, what should cause this problem, EXE is digitally signed.

I guess with next Sophos definition update will be PSPad OK.

Search in files - some files are omitted
The problem isn't new, occurred in prior versions, also in 'stable' versions:
When searching in files, some files are omitted and don't appear in search results.
Even renaming, duplicating the affected files doesn't change this behavior.
After some investigating I found out that the character combination '&times' (dec 215) followed immediately, without any space by '&not' (dec 172) causes this - doesn't matter if remarked the line or not.
Because in 'real live' phrases this character combination unlikely occurs, I use it (validating phrase before) as separator ...
