The main problem what is preventing me to use the v5 is the character set (UTF8) detection. Works fine in v4, but not in v5. In v4 i have UTF8 as default, so the fallback if it does not detect the charset is UTF8 and that works for me. Cant achieve the same with v5.

Can you send me any sample where UTF-8 isn't correctly detected?

Will there be a 64-bit version with scripting support soon?

pspad:If file doesn't contains BOL or any char with value above 127, the content of file is same with ANSI and UTF-8. In this case there is no possibility how to detect content of the file.
In this case, is it better to prefer UTF-8 over ANSI and force file as UTF-8 encoded, to safely save all possible (new) characters input by user? When user isn't agree, he/she can change encoding manually. What do you think about it?

^^This. Or rather use the default encoding set in the settings dialog whenever possible.
