New option for File size limit confirmation in Program settings / Confirmation allows you to set file size limit. If file size is grater, PSPad shows confirmation dialog before file is loaded. Zero limit switch off this function.

Thank you for confirmation. Different themes, different DPI...

There is a nasty bug which keeps appearing after some hours of using PSPad (locally and remotly). It inserts some funny character (mostly 'ÿ', without the quotes) often just before a closing parenthesis (itself replaced by another more common character), see picture.

This also happens in the file explorer where a file name can be replaced by the same 'ÿ' character.

A user has already reports that bug in the forum (forum.pspad.com). I also sent 3 ou 4 bug reports about it.

Me too... access violation...very often ... once a day... once a week but very annoying
i also use it on win7 64b

Also getting access violations. Think I can reproduce it when opening two files in textdiff ans scrolling to the bottom:
