I know, that the problem is in "Default language for non-Unicode programs".
I have set English there, because I need English as default system language.
But I DON'T have the problem with non-unicode version of PSPad. I have problem with PSPad unicode 4.5.9 (2517)!!!

Is there problem with other dialogs or with the program settings only?
PSpad is written in Delphi 7 which isnt native unicode. Unicode support is added there using unicode components. There can be a problem on some places with interface.

Context menu? Do you use Registry integration or DLL library way?
COntext menu is out of PSPad influence.

No. Not system context menu - PSPad context menu:
Cut, Copy, Paste, Help for Language, Open selected file in default application, Text diff with this file and others...

System menu, context menu e.t.c. uses system settings. i am not able to change font or charset for it. And couse you set English charset, you have problem with cyrilic letters there.

Thanks for the answer, but tell me please, by this version of PSPad called UNICODE?
Posted by: pspad | Date: 2014-11-23 17:56 | IP: IP Logged
Because is able to edit text in unicode. Previous version edited text in ANSI and save it as unicode. Now you can write with any code page together inside one document.

Oh! Now I understand. Thank you!
Are you going to do full UNICODE version of PSPad (i mean UI) in the future?

Ÿes, but it will be long process. I have to buy new Delúphi version, move all used component to Unicode and move PSpad code itself too.
