Andreas:2504:
I removed my path variable and tried 2504. It works.
But: Same double content and indentation bug.
And: Content ist shown in a new file where you have to watch out to not again use the PHP beautifier else PSPad hangs and has to be closed with the task manager.
Doubled content isn't possible from my point of view.
Now it's pure call phpCB.exe with parameters and redirection into new file in batch.
At the present new file is open - it's for functionality check only.
This version:
www.dropbox.com
doesn't delete batch file nor result file. You can check the result.

No double content with this version 2505.
No PSPad freezing when beautifying again in result PHP file.
But bad indentation errors and some newline errors.
And result in new file is not good, it should formate the code direct in the original file.
phpStylist:
I use phpStylist from dinofly forum.pspad.com
For this to work I've installed xamp (PHP module is enough)
You need those two files from dinofly (there's no new phpStylist version right now - 15.09.2014)
C:\myPSPadFolder\Plugins\phpstylist\phpStylist.php
C:\myPSPadFolder\Script\JScript\phpStylist.js
In phpStylist.js you have to set these two variables
php_path = "C:\\myXamppFolder\\php\\php.exe";
stylist_path = "C:\\myPSPadFolder\\Plugins\\phpstylist\\phpStylist.php";
Watch out for the double backslashes!

Result in new file tab is temporary solution to easy see result between original and formated file.
I looked at phpStylist. The complication is it needs Web server installed.

Sorry, now I saw that someday I slightly modified phpStylist.php for better results regarding alignment of variables and arrays and possibly indentation.
You can get it here
public.andreasburg.de/phpStylist.zip
public.andreasburg.de
ps This textarea editor is so bad. Is there a manual that shows what we can do with it? Markdown? I.e. it cuts off the rest of an URL and just shows the host.

Yes I agree, but you can install xampp and in the installation only choose the PHP-Module. And you don't have to run the server.
Maybe you find a better solution but the formatter class should work correct and best is that it is still maintained.

Hi,
Turning off code explorer refresh on file save doesn't work.
It will refresh it either way, even when the option is turned off. If I restart PsPad, it will revert the setting back (because it was never really turned off?)
Any thoughts?
Thanks.

Hello
Use workarround:
open program settings and press direct edit
On the left list click on Config. The last item should be:
CodeExplorerRefreshSave=1
change it to:
CodeExplorerRefreshSave=0
Confirm OK and confirm program settings dialog.

Hi Jan,
I downloaded the latest portable version ((pspad458en.zip), and there is no "Scripts" menu entry anymore (between Tools and HTML).
I applied the latest (4.5.9 2503) version on top of it, Scripts still not there.
How do I access my scripts now? I copied a script to the Script\VBscript folder, but they are not runing anymore on the key shortcut I had.
Thank you,
Cristian

Go to program settings / System and enable scripting support.
If you want to keep your settings, you can use backup / restore of settings from program settings / Backup next time or simple replace old PSPad version with new one
