No.
1. Kylix is dead
2. Kylix uses different components, not VCL, but CLX

In this built, while saving directly to ftp server, sometimes (!) the saved file is completly broken because some file system information is insert and saved in the top of the file...

For example:

Original file (line 1-3):

<table class="table_all">
<tr>
<td class="table_links">

After saving (line 1-...):

-rw-r--r-- 1 ftp ftp 407 Apr 20 2006 send.php
-rw-r--r-- 1 ftp ftp 429 Apr 20 2006 sendbestellung.php
-rw-r--r-- 1 ftp ftp 1140 Oct 6 2008 start.php
-rw-r--r-- 1 ftp ftp 1540 May 7 23:14 temp.txt
-rw-r--r-- 1 ftp ftp 7040 Apr 26 2006 test.php
-rw-r--r-- 1 ftp ftp 6980 Aug 7 01:02 test2.php
<table class="table_all">
<tr>
<td class="table_links">

Any idea?

Hello Jan,
I suggest a small improvement to your superlative software?

When pressing the keys (CTRL + SHIFT + DEL) normally remove a file from the project.
It's possible to remove a file only if the focus is in the Tool Panel?
This is to avoid removing files from the project as you type in the edit space.

Thank you, bye
Tonino

Hello Jan,
yet I, only to suggest another small improvement.
I use PSPad for type COBOL programs(but not only). Code-explorer labels are shown in every case, even if they are commented. Could be highlighted using a different color (gray or the same color selected in Settings->HighLighters Settings->COBOL->Color->Comment)?
Bye, Tonino

i think pspad has problem. When I unload Firefox 3.5 and edit prefs.js from FF profile folder and reload FF, FF profile will be corrupted. I daren't to use pspad to edit FF prefs.js anymore.

You need to check if you save it in correct encoding, if you use UTF-8 then with/without BOM

I'm not sure if this is something in my system or not but it's something new.

Occasionally, when I am editing an ftp file, pspad will freeze with an hour glass tumbling for about 60 seconds. I can move the mouse and access other programs but when I hover the mouse over pspad the hour glass appears and nothing responds in pspad.

I am running XP.

In your FTP connection settings is active interval to keep connection online. In default 60s. If server disconnect you, PSPad need to connect again.
You can switch it off.
