Thanks for a great editor

I have seen a problem for the last few betas but have only recently figured out what's wrong

I like to use 'Lucida Sans Typewriter' as the font in my editors but there is a problem if a file with real tab characters is loaded. If a word is double-clicked or a selection is dragged over the text then characters other than the ones selected are highlighted.

Other fonts do not seem to show this problem

I've seen this problem too, and also when I try to save a file without extention, it will not succeed (I select 'Save as type' : 'All files (*.*)').
PSPad will take the extention of Files and Dirs -> New Default.
And when I deselect 'Always this type' a file is saved with the extention of the linked Syntax Highlighting. For example a js file can not be saved without extention js.

At last I can generate a log - did a "Close All" with about 4-5 tabs open and it crashed with a log - has previously crashed (without a log!) if I just close the app when several tabs open.

Bug with not working getVarValue is still present in 2262:

I created a var called %test% with the content "test".

I tried this script (JScript):

var text = getVarValue("%test%");
echo(odinEXE);

Did return an empty string, not test.

My Variable.INI show this (shortened):

[User variables]
%test%=test

Sorry, but odinExe should contains content of the %test% variable?

Did you try it with echo(text); ?

Yes, I tried it with test.

This is the correct script and it does NOT work.

var test = getVarValue("%test%");
echo(test);
