Just installed 2249.
Got this error when I right-click on a tab to close a file.
Note that it happens only when there's only one last tab to close.

Yes, same here. Closing last tab via right-click causes an access violation.

Confirmed.

Thank you for the new build.
Maybe there is a good reason for that, but the HTML checker looks disabled in my installation, it was working in the previous build.
HTML -> Check HTML code - Ctrl+F10
The menu entry is greyed and the shortcut does nothing.
Great editor!
Cheers,
Giacomo

Also got the access violation but it doesn't seem to adversely affect pspad (doesn't crash it.) Anyway, I wouldn't have even thought to do a right-click/close; I prefer the must easier and more efficient scroll-button click tab (or double-click tab).

In this version, the dictionary is working again. Thanks.

I opened a html file and chose html highlighter, but it's greyed. Tidy.exe exists in pspad folder, I didn't touch it.
I tried to uninstall and make a 5.2 fresh installation and it worked again. Then I reupdated to build 2249 (just extracted the files in pspad folder) and it's not working again.
Maybe it's just my installation? I've never posted in the forum but I've been using almost every beta build since 5.0 without any problem.
PSPad is my favourite editor! As it is for many people
